Erecting a Castle

 

There's a journey to forge success,

Challenging in nature

For, patience it demands

And fragility it bounds

Would be exigent for sure,

Fabricating through fracture,

As a climb is straining,

But a slip is just as water draining!

Slower the hour hand,

Ticking the second;

Eternity to comprehend,

A punctuation gap to misunderstand

Marathon of a seed to tree,

Sprint to forest fire;

Nine months to free,

And a blink to expire

Tough to build,

Easy to break,

Wearing to bind,

Facile to burst

So what?

Do we pretext with a 'but'?

Nah.. heros don't do that

They rise, they work, they get!

We are tested 

We are mould

We are invested

And made gold!

We grow, we fall, we stand

With wisdom hand in hand;

Midst waves, we assemble the sand 

And build our own castle fairyland!
