Behind every person there is a hand of support that catches all the problems targeting us by turning himself/herself into fist. We call them mentor, teacher, guide, adviser... Importance of such people is immense in one's life. 

There are situations when one is not in a condition to take a proper decision. In such times when the person who knows us from top to bottom, can guide us to overcome the circumstances as he can see beyond the situation. 

Choosing a mentor is as important as having one. The right mentor brings the best out of you and pushes you to achieve your dreams. Experienced person perform well as mentors. 

For instance, Would Emperor Chandragupta Maurya be able to end the tyrant rule of Emperor Nanda without the strategies of Kautilya (Chaanakya)?? Or take the example of Dhronacharya & Arjun, Dumbledore and Harry Potter... All of them are famous as pairs of mentor and student. 

Your work is to make efforts while the mentor gives direction to your efforts. Direction-less  efforts doesn't buy you desired fruits. Till you have the hand of your guide above your head, utilize it maximum. Make them proud because they have invested their every being in you. 

Mentor is someone who directs you to construct the road while efforts are yours. Mentor is one who protects you in sun and rain. Mentor is your charger, your strength. Your success is their respect.
